This is titled “Last of the Cherry Tomatoes” oil 5” x 7”
We have 5 acres but with the deer, raccoons & other tomato loving animals that proliferate in the forests around us I must grow tomatoes in large pots on our terrace.
This year there were so many that we could gather more than a dozen per day for several months. They tasted great! This painting was done to relax me before starting on the finishing days of a large painting of lions that I was doing for the wildlife show at the San Bernardino museum in California.
For sale $100 (includes shipping). If you would like to purchase please contact me.

A painting a day would be my ultimate goal but I will have to settle for a painting on the days I am able to paint. I would hope that is more often than not and if not I'm off to gather information for new paintings or to sell my work or to visit my family.
These paintings are small, 5" x 7" as a rule, and have become my new stretching excersize to help me grow as an artist and to prepare me to work on the larger scale or more finished paintings. They are done in a quicker, more impressionistic manner that what I usually work inbut have a freedom about them that make them small gems.
They are for sale unless I have taken them to a show, where they've become popular.
I hope you enjoy them.
